I do! As of October 2026 I am in-network with Aetna, Allegiance, BlueCross BlueShield of Montana, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna/Evernorth, EBMS, First Choice Health Network, Mountain Health Co-op, PacificSource, United/Optum.
I do not accept state Medicaid products, Medicare, or TriCare/TriWest/Champ VA at this time.

No. While I wish I could be the expert on each insurance policy it is simply not practical. This is your health insurance, and I want you to feel informed and knowledgable about your coverage. I highly encourage you to call your health insurance and ask the following questions to avoid surprises:
“Does this plan cover mental health benefits?”
“If so, what is my responsibility ? Do I have a co-payment, co-insurance, or a deductible I am expected to pay?”
“Does my plan require pre-authorization for services?”
“Is there a limit on sessions?”
Clients are responsible for the cost of services provided, including any portion their insurance does not cover. Please confirm your benefits with your insurer ahead of time so you know what to expect.

Yes. I am comfortable supporting a wide range of lived experiences and presenting concerns. Reach out and we can discuss further!
Please note there are a handful of experiences that I simply do not have training or expertise in. Some examples include:
Children
Couples
Families
Substance use as a primary concern
ADHD evaluations/diagnosis
ESA letters
I am fortunate to know a number of providers who do have training and expertise in these areas, and I can provide a competent referral as needed.

Sessions are 55-minutes. As for how many, that’s a tough one! It very much depends on what brings you in for therapy and what your goals include.
For some lived experiences, I offer a 90-minute session option. This can be helpful for trauma treatments including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My hope is that you will begin to notice small changes within the first 2-3 sessions. More complex situations may take longer as your nervous system builds trust and feels safe enough to hold vulnerability.
I practice checking in with clients to ensure they feel seen and heard, and to verify they feel we are on-track. I welcome feedback and encourage clients to be an active participant. If you do no feel you are making progress toward your goals, let’s talk about it!

The relationship between a client and a therapist is so important! I offer a one-time 30-minute consultation session (by phone, telehealth, or in person in Bozeman) at no cost to give us each an opportunity to ask and answer questions, get a sense of how we each may show up in the world, and to do an overall “vibe check”, for lack of a clinical term.
If you decide I am not the therapist for you, no worries! I also need to assess whether my skills, training, and way of being align with what you are looking for. If this happens, I am happy to provide you with referrals to a competent clinician who can support you.

I understand life happens. Specific to Bozeman, I’ve driven in 19th during a snowstorm and I understand the automotive dumpster fire that can happen. That said, snow falls every autumn, winter, and spring (sometimes summer too) so I encourage you to prepare and allow extra time to arrive at your therapy session. After all, this is your time for growth and self-discovery, and you are worth showing up for.
I allow up to 10 minutes with no communication before the session is considered a no-call/no-show.
I allow up to 15 minutes with communication (i.e. secure message, text, phone call) before the session is considered a late cancellation.
-
My time is reserved just for you, and late cancellations and no-shows are difficult to fill on short notice. Because of this, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Life happens, so your first late cancellation each calendar year is a courtesy and won’t be charged. After that, cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed sessions are subject to a $100 late cancellation fee.
If you receive a reduced rate through sliding scale or scholarship (Redside, A3, CGF), the late cancellation fee is equal to your session fee, up to $100.
If late cancellations or no-shows become a pattern (three within a calendar year), I may pause scheduling until we’ve had a chance to talk about what’s getting in the way. My goal is to make sure therapy is working for you.
I know illness, emergencies, and caregiving responsibilities come up, as they do in my life too. If something like that affects you, please reach out and let me know. I review fee exceptions case by case.
